Additional Sockets

It might be tempting to add extra sockets on your own or rely on extension leads, but we strongly recommend against it. Let our team handle the installation for you, whether you need one socket or several. We specialise in safe and efficient installation of a variety of sockets, including standard, USB, and external options, tailored to your needs. 

• Isolate the circuit and use a voltage tester to confirm the existing socket is dead
• Ensure the installation complies with IEE electrical regulations and local building regulations
• Cut the cable at the existing socket and the new socket
• Feed the new cable into the mounting box through a rubber grommet
• Connect the cable cores to the faceplate terminals
• Tighten the terminal screws
• Attach the faceplate
• Turn the power back on
• Use a socket tester to confirm the new socket is wired correctly
